Our Wedding Day (May 3, 2008)

Kevin and I were married at Reunion Golf Club in Hoschton, GA on May 3, 2008. Our marriage meant Kevin would not only become a husband to me but that he would become a step father to my son Andrew who Kevin has taken in as his own son. I am so very blessed to have found such a wonderful man who is such an incredible role model for Andrew. Our wedding day started out very rainy and I was afraid I was not going to get my outdoor ceremony that I so desperately wanted but luckily God was on our side that day and about an hour before the ceremony the skies completely cleared, the sun came out and I got to have the outdoor ceremony I had always dreamed of. The rest of the day and evening was absolutely gorgeous. Every aspect of our wedding was PERFECT from the food to the music to the family and friends that surrounded us. Andrew stole the show by dancing the night away. He told us it was "the best night of his life" and we couldn't have said it better ourselves. It was a magnificent evening that we will never forget. There were many people that have been a big part of mine and Kevin's lives together that shared this night with us. I especially have several very close friends that are very near and dear to my heart (my bridesmaids) and have been a part of my life long before Kevin and I got together. It felt so go to be able to have them stand by my side, like they have for so many years, and take part in one of the happiest days of my life. We were also so fortunate to have many family members come from out of town to be with us for our special day and we are so grateful to each and every one of you that took time out of your lives to be with us as we joined our lives. Last but not least.....the people who this whole wedding would not have been possible without... Our parents! My dad and Step mom so graciously gave us this amazing day with family and friends that would not have been possible otherwise. My mom, who not only helped me buy the dress of my dreams, but has been such an incredible support to me throughout not only the wedding preparation but throughout all my ups and many downs in my life and I thank you for that mom! And Kevin's mom and dad were so gracious in giving us so very much. Our rehearsal dinner was perfect thanks to you guys but I think what I am most grateful for is the unconditional love you have for my son. You both have taken him in as your grandson and he adores you both and that alone speaks volumes for how big both of your hearts are. Kevin , Andrew and I are so very fortunate to have such loving families to support us through our lives and we want ALL of you to know that it is appreciated more than you will ever know!
